We are looking for a Legal Operations Manager to join our team in the Silicon Valley. In this role, you will oversee key aspects of legal and investment operations, ensuring seamless management of equity and debt portfolios, vendor contracts, and compliance processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and is eager to contribute to process optimization and technology implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to support investment and exit transactions, including compliance checks, document preparation, due diligence, and post-closing administration.
- Manage portfolio-related requests, such as processing stockholder consents, audit confirmations, and due diligence tasks.
- Coordinate vendor and contract management processes, including negotiation, onboarding, and payment processing for various contract types.
- Oversee the operation and management of key programs, such as external consultant initiatives and workflow optimization.
- Maintain and optimize legal technology solutions, including platforms like Ironclad, SimpleLegal, DocuSign, and AODocs.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within legal operations.
- Compile, organize, and analyze data to support internal and external reporting requirements, including public filings.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as document filing, data organization, and tracking daily activities to ensure smooth legal operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in corporate legal management, or related fields.
- Familiarity with calendar management and docketing systems.
- Knowledge of investment management and corporate finance principles.
- Proficiency in managing legal contracts and vendor relations.
- Strong understanding of finance administration and reporting processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with legal technology platforms, such as Ironclad, SimpleLegal, or DocuSign.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
