Job Description Holy Trinity Diocesan High School, centrally located in Hicksville, NY is seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to teach English. This is a full-time position. Applicants must possess a Bachelors Degree, along with NYS certification (will consider applicants working towards their certification.) Preference will be given to applicants with a Masters Degree and previous teaching experience. • Plan and deliver engaging instruction in English aligned with NYSSLS.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to the intellectual, social, and spiritual development of students.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies, including technology integration and inquiry-based learning.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments; provide timely and constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with students, parents, and administration.
• Incorporate Catholic values and the school's mission into daily classroom interactions.
• Participate in department meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-wide activities.
