Job Description

Director of Marketing
The Director of Marketing oversees RaLin Construction and its associated companies, divisions, and joint ventures with promotional and advertising efforts to drive project award and build brand awareness, both internally and externally. Responsibilities include developing an overall marketing plan, approving campaigns, and measuring the return on investment of various advertising methods for both external and internal brand and messaging deployment.

Duties and Responsibilities
• RaLin’s Director of Marketing is an executive position responsible for making high-level decisions regarding promotional campaigns.
• Review current marketing trends to determine the effectiveness of unique styles and strategies.
• Evaluate innovative technologies and software to further enhance Marketing effectiveness and efficiency.
• Work with the executive team to build a brand that exemplifies RaLin’s mission and connects with the values of our customers.
• Create and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts customers to RaLin’s industry segments and construction services that we provide.
• Work with Business Development to assess, identify, and expand markets.
• Plan Marketing budget to deliver profitability and identify effective campaigns.
• Research competitors to stay current with related products or services on the market.
• Work with People and Culture Leader to attract and retain employees.
• Collaborate with other executives to make high-level decisions, regarding the budget and the direction of the company.
• Develop and oversee marketing strategies and launch campaigns of new industry lines or construction services that comply with current company standards.
• Coordinate market research and analyzes the resulting data to identify the values and buying habits of our target customers.
• Lead the marketing team in coordinating responses for potential customer qualifications and proposal requests and formal presentations.
• Participate as a member of Executive Leadership Team

Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations; MBA or relevant certifications are a plus.

Strategic Thinking. Ability to think strategically and align the department’s goals to overall business objectives. This skill involves making data-driven decisions, identifying market trends, and anticipating future challenges or opportunities.

Leadership and Management. Must possess strong leadership and management skills. This involves directing a team, providing feedback, mentoring, and coaching, as well as identifying and managing the team’s strengths, weaknesses, and building a positive work culture.

Excellent Communication Skills. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. This includes the ability to present ideas, influence and persuade others, build relationships with stakeholders, and communicate the brand message effectively.

Digital Marketing Knowledge. Possess digital marketing knowledge to stay ahead of the curve. This skill involves a deep understanding of search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, email marketing, and other digital marketing channels. Staying current with emerging technologies and new digital marketing trends is essential.

Analytical Skills. Possess strong analytical skills to make data-driven decisions. This involves analyzing customer data, market trends, and competitor analysis and being able to effectively communicate insights that lead to measurable outcomes.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. This is a full-time position, and normal operating hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5 pm with the potential for occasional evening and weekend work, depending on exigent circumstances.
