Overview
Responsible for supervision of probationary offenders assigned from the county.
Responsibilities
Client Supervision
Supervision of County Probationers assigned to Day Reporting
Prepares, maintains and documents required reporting and records management.
Managerial
Write and present end of month reports as required by management in accordance with Agency guidelines.
Assure all cumulative forms are completed in accordance with Policy/Procedure.
Other
Responsible for completing other tasks as may be assigned by your supervisor.

Intake and Assessment
Case File Management
Referrals – early release/aftercare
Group Facilitations
Client Activity Scheduling
Court Presentations/Procedures and Referrals
Urinalysis Testing
Aftercare Programming
Record and Daily Activities
Programming
Assure all assessed needs are being addressed; i.e. mental health, substance abuse, etc.
Assure resident treatment agreements are fulfilled.
Assure all treatment/progress reports reflect actual client performance and are dated and signed within prescribed times.
Assure all external referrals are documented via memorandums to case file.
Formulate/Coordinate client programs vital to assessment needs.
Qualifications
Associate's Degree with one year experience in a human service position.
Knowledge of principles, practices, methods and techniques of criminal justice and corrections casework. Knowledge of service area social services and community services agencies.
Ability to express ideas clearly, concisely and convincingly both in oral and written communications.
Develops offender specific counseling plans, evaluate offender situations incorporating high level offender focused decision-making skills.
Establishes and maintains effective collaboration with the criminal justice system, the public and the community.
Maintains organized filing system, possesses general knowledge and experience with office equipment along with detail orientated abilities.
High level computer skills and computer program knowledge along with computer applications.
Works productively, prioritizes and meets deadlines in a timely manner.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be able to lift and/or move 25 pounds.
