Description: About the Role General Dynamics Land Systems Co-op Program is hiring for rotations starting in fall of 2024 and winter of 2025. The engineering co-op will perform various responsibilities depending on the organization in which they are placed. This role will begin in the Integrated Systems: Human Factor Engineering.
Other primary functional areas for rotation this rotation, but are not limited to the following:
- Systems Engineering
- System Safety Engineering
- Human Factors Engineering

- 9-80 Work Schedule (This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off).

Responsibilities to Anticipate for this Rotation: - Write requirements and perform verification/testing to cover human factors engineering.
- Learn human factors engineering practices and methods.
- May have opportunity to create a human model using Jack software.
Qualifications Sought - Pursuing a bachelor's degree majoring in either Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or Human Factors Engineering,
- Must currently be a full-time student at accredited University/College
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Preferred - GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Must successfully pass standard pre-employment screens and must provide an official university transcript before their first day of employment.
Additional Information / Desired Experience - This position may require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance).
- Must demonstrate good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
