Description

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Biomedical Engineer/Regional Sales team member is responsible for providing support and services to PTCOA locations as well as external clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  1. Ensure the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.
  2. Provide technical support, repair, and assistance to internal and external clients for biomedical equipment.
  3. Delegate project tasks to applicable internal resources and continually monitor and track progress of assigned tasks.
  4. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans to be shared with management and impacted staff members.
  5. Track overall project performance, specifically to ensure the successful and timely completion of short-term and long-term tasks.
  6. Meet budgetary objectives of project.
  7. Report and escalate issues to Administration as needed.
  8. Perform risk management analyses to minimize project risks.
  9. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  10. Receive and respond to requests from team members regarding issues and needs at the Company's leased and owned facilities. This includes the responsibility to monitor the Service Desk requests related to facilities/building issues at all leased and owned facilities.
  11. Coordinate service calls, repairs, and other maintenance as needed for PTCOA's leased and owned facilities, while providing excellent customer service.
  12. Act as liaison between team members and external parties regarding the Company's leased facilities and serve as point of contact for these facilities.
  13. Serves as OSHA safety coordinator for all locations.
  14. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS

The position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Preferred qualifications include an associate or bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of experience in project coordination and/or facilities support.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are expected to fluctuate but at a minimum this position will be required to work from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday through Thursday) and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Friday), and occasionally after regular business hours. Frequent travel will be required. When not traveling, the position operates in a professional office environment and the incumbent, in the course of performing this position, spends time writing, typing, speaking, listening, driving, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), standing, sitting, walking, and reaching. The incumbent operates all standard office equipment, motor vehicles, and mobile phones. The work environment characteristics and physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

The Biomedical Engineer's performance is evaluated by the CFO. PTCOA reserves the right to change this at any time according to business needs and/or assign tasks that it may deem appropriate.
